be-MINE Beringen applies for environmental permit to bring nature, heritage and water together

be-MINE, the former mine site in Beringen, is applying for an environmental permit for the be-NATURE project. That is a project for a piece of the former mine site, namely at the coal washes. The intention is to bring local nature into a controlled part of the mining heritage. These include a ground level and bike path experience, and public access to the coal laundry.
