Discover the 4 parts of be-Nature
be-MINE may be an old, industrial site, yet nature is closer here than you think.
The green core
The green core forms, not only figuratively but also literally, the heart of the project.
Inside the coal laundry, a large space will be cleared where visitors will be able to walk among the greenery.
Beneath the coal laundry
You don’t really notice it today, but the largest building on the site is actually on stilts. It floats above the first floor, so to speak. Here will be paths that allow visitors to actually walk and bike under the building complex.
New purpose
Be-Nature is in the core of the building. The edge around that core will be preserved. That portion of the building will become available for new activities that will bring additional life and animation along this side of the be-MINE site.
In front of the building lies a wide network of tracks along which coal could be transported to the port. This entire space is being reconstructed, but while preserving the typical lines drawn by the tracks in the landscape.
