Starting in 1907, the Beringen coal mine was one of the gold mines that put Limburg on the map. But in 1989, the last cart surfaces. After that, the former mining site must reinvent itself. Thirty years after the closure, be-MINE is alive and well: here you can see how the past and the future embrace each other.
