In 2015, the United Nations established the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They form the basis for the sustainable development agenda to 2030. NV be-MINE is completely convinced of this sustainable approach. <\/span>You can find the proof at the Beringen mine site: be-MINE is an ideal testing ground to put the sustainable goals into practice. In the former mine, miners used <\/span>spruce<\/span> To shore up the corridors. But those spruce forests are planted and so <\/span>non-local<\/span>. Now we replace them with <\/span>local varieties<\/span>. For industrial activities, you needed solid ground. But for the<\/span> interpretation of be-MINE<\/span> that <\/span>paved floor is unnecessary<\/span>. On a huge building lies … a <\/span>imposing roof<\/span>. And that large surface area provides a <\/span>substantial “water yield<\/span>. Instead of sending all that precipitation to the sewer system, we have <\/span>reservoirs<\/span> built. The days when the car was king are fortunately behind us. Everyone knows that a <\/span>piece of walking pretty okay<\/span> is. Therefore, we provide adequate parking spaces and advocate to governments for a maximum parking standard, with parking facilities that are <\/span>slightly further from the building.
